Barrie and Jerry (Jeraldine) Qualle are semi-retired ranchers. We formerly ran steers in Saskatchewan, cows and calves in California and roped, rodeoed and team penned on weekends. We have always raised our own horses and now limit our livestock to raising top quality quarter horses.
Ten years ago after leaving the ranch in Saskatchewan, we spent the night in Lewiston, Idaho and took a road that brought us into the Wallowa Valley. We never forgot it. We had been to all the pretty places in the western US and this place beat them all.
A few years ago we made the best move of our lives sold the ranch in California, moved here and have never looked back or regretted one minute.
